Civil Partnerships
So be honest, who doesn’t love a celebrity wedding? We can’t resist the temptation to snoop around the details of who wore what, what they ate, and of course who turned up to celebrate the happy couple.
With Brad and Angelina walking down the aisle this August, we thought we’d had our quota of celebrity nuptials, but no! Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka announced on the 8th September that they too had finally tied the knot in beautiful Italy. So, what more apt focus this week, than a post on Civil Partnerships and all the joy they bring.
The Groom Wore
For their romantic Italian destination wedding, actor Neil Patrick Harris and chef David Burtka wore Tom Ford tuxedos and looked every inch the glamorous groomsmen. It has been reported that their beautiful twin toddlers Harper Grace and Gideon Scott played a special role in the ceremony, and that Sir Elton John himself provided the entertainment.Having been together since 2004, they waited for the law to change in the state of New York in 2011 before proposing, then making 2014 the year to say ‘I do’
