Our Manor is a versatile venue that caters to a variety of events, including weddings, occasion events, and corporate retreats and events.

2. What makes Manor by the Lake unique?
We are an award-winning, exclusive-use venue nestled in the beautiful town of Cheltenham, Cotswolds. The venue boasts a beautiful Victorian manor steeped in history and character, with stunning indoor and outdoor spaces set in 7 acres of enchanting private grounds.

3. Is Manor by the Lake suitable for both small and large events?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of adaptable spaces, making it the perfect setting for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate party, or special occasion, we are here to assist in creating your bespoke event.

4. Do you provide accommodation for guests?
Yes, we offer 12 lavish, individually styled bedrooms and suites, as well as a cottage and lodge. Your guests can enjoy comfortable and luxurious accommodations during their stay. Each room is equipped everything you will need for your stay, including irons, ironing boards, hair dyers, small toiletries etc. all for added convenience.

5. What are the catering options at Manor by the Lake?
Our creative and passionate chefs can craft a mouth-watering menu tailored to your preferences. We offer a range of options, from theatrical cooking at the table to street food feasts, using seasonal and local produce sourced from trusted suppliers.

6. Can we bring in external catering?
External catering is permitted for Dry Hire weddings only. For other weddings and events, our in-house brigade of chefs craft exceptional menus to suit your preferences.

7. What wedding packages do you offer?
Here we call them Collections, because we offer so much more than just a ‘wedding package’. Our wedding collections are designed to simplify the whole process. We offer different collections, including options like intimate weddings, lavish collections, and seasonal features. All collections include exclusive hire of Manor by the Lake, providing you and your guests with full access to the estate. We also offer the flexibility to create a bespoke collection to suit your unique needs.

8. Where is Manor by the Lake located and how accessible is it?
Manor by the Lake, located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, boasts excellent accessibility from the motorway network. Situated just minutes from Junction 11 of the M5 motorway, it offers convenient access for guests arriving by car from major cities like Bristol and Birmingham. Additionally, the venue is well-connected to the A40 and A417 roads, providing alternative routes for travelers. Ample on-site parking is typically available, ensuring ease of arrival. While primarily accessible by car, Cheltenham also has a railway station (Cheltenham Spa) for guests arriving by train, with local transportation options to reach the venue.

Yes, Manor by the Lake is a pet-friendly venue. We welcome your furry friends to be part of your special day or event. We have 1 of our suites which is friendly

We encourage personalising your event space, from the manor house to our ballroom, every space is a canvas for you to create your dream wedding vision. In terms of restrictions, just speak to your wedding planner and they will advise on your ideas.

12. Is confetti allowed on the premises?
Yes, we allow biodegradable confetti or dried flowers only

13. What time can vendors/suppliers access the venue for setup?
Suppliers can typically access the venue from [insert time]. We’ll coordinate with you and them to ensure smooth preparations for your event.

14. Is the venue accessible for guests with mobility issues?
Yes, Manor by the Lake is equipped with accessible facilities to accommodate guests with mobility challenges. Please let us know in advance so we can make necessary arrangements.

15. Do you have a list of preferred suppliers?
Yes, we have a curated list of trusted suppliers, including florists, DJs, and photographers, who are familiar with our venue. You’re also welcome to choose your own vendors.

16. Is breakfast included for overnight guests?
Yes, all overnight guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast featuring a selection of hot and cold options.

17. What time is check-out for overnight guests?
Check-out is at 10:00am from your bedrooms and 10:30am from the manor. If a later check-out is needed, please contact our team in advance.

18. Do you offer weekday or off-season wedding packages?
Yes, we offer special collections for weekday and off-season wedding special offers, providing the same high-quality experience at a more budget-friendly rate.
